Your Creation:  “6750 Catina St.”

This “Doll House” represents the home where my six siblings and I were raised by our loving parents, Pete and Marian Grillot.  An event was never forgotten as this home hosted many birthdays, holiday celebrations and Sunday gatherings with family and friends.  The more, the merrier and everybody was always welcome.  

Here, the days started early and always ended with everybody seated around the dinner table for a warm family meal. If I remember correctly, we sat in the same seats and nobody ate until Mere served everyone and until after Pappy led us in prayers.

I am sure I am speaking for everybody in the family that we were truly blessed to have such wonderful parents who loved and protected us while instilling strong catholic and personal values throughout our lives.   

Thanks to Mom and Dad, these values are what make us who we are today.  We will never forget and will always miss them.

PS:  The base of this doll house was cut from the top of Pappy’s wood desk and the roofing material is made from one of Pappy’s go-to tools….Duct Tape.
