Thank you so much for the beautiful gift that has really touched my heart. During my adolescent years as a young writer, I made custom furniture, so I have an affinity for and deep appreciate for woodworking.  Something my oldest son now does for a living.  Thank you for the piece of history too!

What you brought to me today is beyond amazing.  so much work, creativity and talent went into these things.  How special the materials are and where they're from; and the cross is already blessed!  Holy Rosary is my favorite New Orleans church besides the cathedral.  Jay's mom and dad were married there and his mom used to tell me stories of how they met there at a dance.  Just the time you have taken to write the stories about these things blows me away.  Now I know where Chris gets his writing and creativity from.
